The government approved the “Design of Solar Systems” regulations at its meeting on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. It was created by a cross-agency and cross-community working group led by the Office for Building Construction and Spatial Planning.
The newly created regulations “Design of solar systems” show how good design and integration into the townscape and landscape can be achieved, while adhering to defined design regulations, for both solar systems on pitched roofs and flat roofs as well as for solar systems on facades. The “Solar system design” regulations created the basis for harmonized regulations for the design of solar systems across the country. The municipalities now have the opportunity to incorporate and apply the regulations in local planning, especially in their municipal building regulations.
