Associations
According to the VwbPG, only associations which are obliged to register in the Commercial Register are also obliged to enter their beneficial owners in the Register of Beneficial Owners. In this case, the entry in the Register must be made within 30 days of the association's registration in the Commercial Register. If an association is not obliged to register in the Commercial Register and is therefore also not obliged to register in the Register of Beneficial Owners, it is mandatory that the original signed form "Auskunft zur Eintragungspflicht eines Vereins" is submitted to the Office of Justice, indicating the non-existing obligation to register in the Commercial Register.
