Chauffeur Licensing Ordinance (CZV)
The Chauffeur Licensing Ordinance (CZV) has been in force since September 1, 2009.
In Liechtenstein, no separate skill certificate is created but an entry is made in the driver's license (code "95") in the respective category. For the extension, a new driver's license must be issued. This can be applied for by mail or at the counter of the Office for Road Traffic, after completion of the continuing education of 5 course days.
Pass holders who have applied for the category C/C1 before September 1, 2009, need the entry from September 1, 2014. The pass holders of the category D/D1 who have applied for the category before September 1, 2009, need the entry from September 1, 2013.
