STATE TEST
From January 1, 2009, a civics test is also required to obtain a residence permit. The test consists of 21 multiple-choice questions, i.e. questions in which the correct answer is selected from three possible answers. 14 questions must be answered correctly
A civics test is now also required for the granting of Liechtenstein citizenship. This test consists of 27 multiple-choice questions, 18 of which must be answered correctly.
Those who have attended compulsory school in Liechtenstein for at least three years and have successfully completed the 9th grade or have completed basic vocational training in accordance with the Vocational Training Act do not need to take the civics test.
