Copy of the medical bill
Transparency is a crucial aspect of a well-functioning healthcare system.
Starting from January 1, 2017, service providers who submit bills directly to health insurers are obligated to provide the insured individuals with a copy of the invoice submitted to the insurer. This service is provided to patients at no cost. The expense associated with sending the invoice is covered by the service provider.
