Level of detail
The level of detail defines how detailed the elements of the land cover and individual objects layers are recorded. The content of the official cadastral survey (AV) is generalized, i.e. small or insignificant situational objects are omitted or shown in simplified form. For example, elements of land cover (buildings, road surfaces, gardens, etc.) and individual objects (walls, stairs, etc.) are only recorded if they meet the following requirements:
- Buildings larger than 6 m2
- Other areas larger than 100 m2 in the construction area
- Walls with a height of at least 1.25 m, along public roads, paths and squares
- if the objects require a permit or are subject to a public requirement
- fulfill an important function or can be useful as an important orientation aid
The regulations on the level of detail essentially correspond to the regulations in Switzerland, particularly in the cantons of Eastern Switzerland. However, they have also been adapted to Liechtenstein conditions.
Example:
Recording of façade relocations
The regulations on the level of detail can be obtained from the Civil Engineering and Geoinformation Office, Surveying and Geoinformation Division, or directly as electronic documents.
