Please proceed as follows in the event of a sign loss:

Single sign:

• The loss must be reported to the Office of Road Traffic immediately
• After reporting, the plate can be reordered once (Control plate order)

Pair of signs:

• If you lose a pair of plates the loss must be reported immediately to the Road Traffic Office 
• The plates will be blocked for 15 years after reporting and will be advertised in the APB system.
• Cancelled vehicles must be rewritten to a new plate.

Motorcycle plates:

• If you lose a motorcycle plate, the loss must be reported immediately to the Office of Highway Traffic 
• The plate will be blocked for 15 years after reporting and will be posted in the APB system.
• Repaid vehicles must be transferred to a new plate.
