Digital registration for the residence permit lottery
Brief project description
There are two draws per year for residence permits for which EEA nationals are eligible to participate. The draw takes place in a two-stage procedure (preliminary and final draw). Participants must submit the completed application form by post by the deadline and pay the fee by bank transfer in good time. Participants who do not meet the conditions of participation will not be included in the preliminary draw. Following the preliminary draw, the participants drawn will be informed and requested to submit further documents by post and again to pay the fee by bank transfer in good time. Only participants who meet all the conditions will be admitted to the final draw. The participants drawn in the final lottery will receive a notification with the assurance of a residence permit. With the implementation of this project, participation in the preliminary and final draws will take place digitally using a digital form. Participants register via a digital form, i.e. no documents need to be sent physically by post. Fees are paid by credit card. In addition to the participants drawn, those not drawn will also be informed.
