National thresholds

The national thresholds for contracting authorities "municipalities" in the area of direct awards and of negotiation procedures are described in the Articles 25, paragraph 3 and 26 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement ÖAWV. Above these contract values for direct awards or for negotiated procedures, the open or restricted procedure (Article 22, paragraph 5 ÖAWG) is to be applied.

Exceptional provisions for the permissible application of the negotiated procedure are regulated in Article 25 of the Public Procurement Regulation Regulation.
