Innosuisse Collaboration with Liechtenstein

Innosuisse is the Swiss agency for innovation promotion. It specifically promotes collaboration between science and the market through innovation projects, networking, training and coaching, so that successful Swiss start-ups, products and services can emerge.

Since November 2016, there has been a written agreement between the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). With this agreement, it is now also possible for Swiss u/o Liechtenstein companies to launch projects with Liechtenstein research institutions without restrictions. Furthermore, it is possible for Liechtenstein companies to cooperate with Swiss research institutions, provided that a substantial part of the resulting added value is generated in Switzerland. All projects are accompanied by Innosuisse experts, provided they are eligible for funding.

Innovation projects are carried out jointly by companies (mostly SMEs) and research institutions. They aim to deliver economic success or create added value for society. Funding is open to all disciplines and innovations are also funded, which are not of a technical nature.

UID number

Whether the Swiss or Liechtenstein company has a UID number, you can find here. If the Liechtenstein company does not have a UID number yet, then the company can apply here for one.
