Employer identifier (Legal Unit PEID)
The employer's PEID is required for the declaration of employees. The employer's PEID refers to the legal unit of an employer. A legal unit can have several workplaces (local-kind-of-activity units); for example, a bank's legal unit can have several workplaces (local-kind-of-activity units) in different municipalities.
The Office of Statistics provides companies with the Employer identifier and the AHV-No. of employees with the Survey of employees as of December 31 at the end of each February.
Companies registered in the Commercial Register can obtain the employer identifier (Legal Unit PEID) from the Commercial Register number. The HR number can be found on the Company Index of the Liechtenstein Commercial Register.
Example: From the HR number FL-0002.458.973-3, omitting "FL-", as well as the leading zeros and the last digit, results in the employer identifier (Legal Unit PEID) 2458973.
With business license
Companies not registered in the Commercial Register, employers with a business license will find the employer identifiert (Legal Unit PEID) of the person who is the holder of the business license on the business license:

Companies not registered in the Commercial Register, employers who do not require a business license, can obtain their employer identifier (Legal Unit PEID) from the Office of Statistics.
Clubs, associations, condominium associations, etc. that are not registered in the Commercial Register can obtain the employer identifier (Legal Unit PEID) from the Office of Statistics.
