Monitoring of the employees
Surveillance and monitoring systems designed to monitor employee behavior in the workplace may not be used.
If monitoring or control systems are required for other reasons, they must in particular be designed and arranged in such a way that the health and freedom of movement of the employees are not impaired.
Monitoring and control systems primarily refer to all technical systems by means of which the activities or behavior of employees can be recorded. Experience shows that monitoring systems trigger negative feelings among the employees concerned and worsen the general working atmosphere. They impair the well-being, mental health and thus the performance of employees. It is therefore in the interest of all concerned that no surveillance systems are used or that they are at least handled with as much restraint as possible.
