Market analysis of access to the telephone network

In the present analysis of the retail market for access to the public telephone network at a fixed location, the Office for Communications identifies effective competition which is independent of regulated VoIP wholesale services and is assessed by the Office in the forecast as competitive. The obligations imposed on Telecom Liechtenstein in 2010 regarding access to the public telephone network at a fixed location and the associated decisions of 2019 regarding regulated charges and the standard offer for access to the public telephone network via VoIP should therefore be lifted by decree and no new obligations should be imposed.

The consultation version of the market analysis will be published to inform market participants and give them the opportunity to comment.
