Organization
The Office of Informatics is attached to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Finance.
Organizationally, the Office of Informatics is structured as follows (see also organizational chart):
The Infrastructure department operates and develops the entire IT infrastructure - from the complex network infrastructure to the data centers and server landscape to the clients, including a wide range of standard software products. A self-service portal and the service desk team are available for users.
The Department Applications is responsible for the support and further development of the specialized applications of the most diverse subject areas of the customers. If no suitable software solution can be procured on the market, in-house developments are realized.
The Department Business Consulting is responsible for the proactive support and consulting of the customers of the Office of Information Technology and handles the customer projects in connection with new IT requirements.
The Staff Office Information Security handles information security (protection of information in analog and digital form) and IT security (technical protection of digital information) and advises the departments of the Office of Information Technology as well as customers.
The Staff IT Management Office is responsible for central topics such as IT Service Management, IT Financial Management, Quality Assurance, and Central Purchasing, among others.
