Property Management
The Staff Unit for State Properties, Property Management Division, manages the state-owned buildings and facilities as well as the leased properties holistically. On the one hand, this means optimal and long-term value retention of the properties, and on the other hand, economic operational management for the benefit of customers and users. In order to be able to fulfill this task, a "Facility Management" has been established in recent years, which provides detailed information on all important management, utilization and cost issues. Only if the functional and cost backgrounds are known can cost- and use-optimized management be guaranteed for the future.
The current insurance value of state-owned buildings is around CHF 650 million. The cost-saving and future-proof design of these buildings, the management of construction implementation, and efficient, sustainable and economical management are the core tasks of the Real Estate Management Division.
