Carcass disposal
For reasons of animal disease prevention, dead animals must be disposed of in specified ways. The size and weight of the carcass are decisive for the disposal method.
The disposal of dead pets, domestic animals and fallen game with a weight < 200 kg is carried out via the local community collection point or directly via the Buchs regional animal carcass collection point.
This is located on the edge of the grounds of the Buchs waste incineration plant on Langäulistrasse. The fully automated and monitored facility allows for the hygienic disposal of dead animals.
