Bonuses may be paid to successful athletes and junior athletes for outstanding performances at the Olympic Games, World and European Championships, and Games of Small States.

Awards - Golden Laurel Leaf
The Government honors individuals in recognition of outstanding achievements and special services to Liechtenstein sports by awarding them the "Golden Laurel Leaf". As an outward sign of the honor, the honoree also receives a gold lapel pin.
