The international thresholds for contracting-institutions-of-private-law" are defined in the Announcement of Thresholds in Public Procurement.
International thresholds contracting entities under private law (229 kb)
Beyond these thresholds, public procurement contracts are subject to the provisions of the Article 22, paragraph 1 ÖAWG, depending on their appropriateness, in the open or restricted procedure. Exceptional provisions for the permissible use of the negotiated procedure are contained in Article 24 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement.
