Media is omnipresent and media literacy is a topical issue that concerns us all. Media literacy means using media consciously and, above all, responsibly.

Media literacy also means using digital media competently - for example, being cautious with personal data on the internet, critically examining information, observing general rules of conduct and also being able to shield oneself from excessive digital distractions.

For this reason, a media prevention performance was realized in cooperation with the Liechtenstein Media Competence Expert Group (www.medienkompetenz.li)

With the project angek(l)ickt an interactive, multimedia performance was realized in collaboration with Tamara Kaufmann (professional dancer and choreographer). Important information and media-preventive ideas are presented in a live solo stage performance using multimedia, dance, movement, spoken texts and music. An unconventional production that presents the important content for acquiring media literacy in a factual, informative but also theatrical and dance  in a multimedia live performance lasting approx. 55 minutes.

Three productions have been created so far:

  • angek(l)ickt: Secondary level 1 (8th/9th grade), parents' evenings
  • angek(l)ickt JUNIOR: Elementary school 4th - 6th grade (cycle 2)
  • angek(l)ickt KIDS: Elementary school 1st/2nd grade (cycle 1)

Additional material has been created to deepen the content in a workshop adapted to the respective target audience after the input performance. Further information at www.angeklickt.li
