GDL provision in the field of employment services and staff leasing for companies from EU/EEA countries

Persons who carry out the activity of personnel leasing or employment services on a professional basis in their country of origin are admitted to Liechtenstein upon application within the scope of their existing authorization to provide cross-border services (GDL). The application must be submitted to the Office of National Economy using the official form

Regulations to be observed

Once the license is granted, the foreign companies are allowed to provide the GDL of labor leasing or employment services. In doing so, they must comply with the provisions of the Labor Placement Act and the Labor Placement Ordinance.

Note

The hiring out of an employee to a Liechtenstein company is a posting within the meaning of Art. 3(1)(c) of the Posting of Workers Act. Accordingly, all obligations under the Posted Workers Act must also be observed.
