International thresholds

The international thresholds for contracting authorities "municipalities" are defined in the Announcement of Thresholds in the Award of Public Contracts.

Beyond these thresholds, public procurement contracts are subject to the provisions of the Article 22, Paragraph 1 ÖAWG, depending on their appropriateness, in the open or restricted procedure. Exceptional provisions for the permissible application of the negotiated procedure are contained in Article 24 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement regulated.
