Other facilities are "large-scale facilities" such as large wood chip furnaces that serve the purpose of the Energy Efficiency Act in a special way. 

The purpose is to support the efficient use of energy, as well as to promote the use of renewable energy. In particular, the degree of environmental impact, the use of renewable energy, the degree of self-sufficiency, energy efficiency, economic viability, and the exemplary effect are all considered in the assessment.

To the establishment of "Other facilities" can be awarded subsidies up to 400`000 CHF.

> Submission to the energy office:	Funding application and building completion certificate must be submitted in principle including all enclosures complete and in paper form. Submissions by e-mail are not sufficient.

Conditions/ Prerequisites/ Important Notes

Forfeiture of the claim 

The entitlement to the payment of subsidies expires if the measures are started before a legally binding assurance of the subsidies has been received.

Project author

The subsidies are only paid if a competent planning and execution of the measures is guaranteed. 

Term

The assurance of the subsidy is limited in time according to Art. 25 EEG. The measure must be started within one year from the decision on granting subsidies and completed within two years.
