eVertretung

First steps

Companies that are entered in the commercial register

To activate a company in the first step, the ‘administrators’ must log in to the system according to their function and signatory authorisation. The prerequisite is a cancelled eID.

Login to the eVertretung

If the natural persons do not have the right to sign individually or collectively in pairs, or if there are other problems with activation, the application form for activation must be completed in advance.

If problems occur in the eVertrettung system, you can contact us via the help button in the top right-hand corner using the text field provided and, if necessary, a document attachment. You will then be contacted at the e-mail address you provided in the eVertrettung.

Questions and answers

What happens after the company is activated in eVertretung?

As soon as the company is activated, all authorised administrators of companies managed by the commercial register are imported as soon as they log in to eVertretung for the first time. The right to sign no longer plays a role once the company has been activated.

Who is designated as an administrator in a company?

A list of the corresponding function designations can be found here

How can I delegate the management of a service to another person (e.g. eMWST)?

Within the eVertretung, other people can be invited to join the company. Each person can be assigned a corresponding service.

Can I delegate the complete administration of my company to someone else?

Yes, a person with the role of ‘Administrator’ can be added to the company. This person has the same rights as the administrator of a company. They can add or delete other people, assign or remove services. In principle, however, the administrator remains responsible for ensuring the correct status of the system or checking it regularly.

What do I have to do if an administrator is deleted from the commercial register?

If the addition was automatic (‘administrator’ role is visible in the eVertretung), no further action is required. The person is deleted from the commercial register at the same time as they are deleted from the eVertretung.

If the activation was requested using a form and the role in the system is ‘Administrator’, this person must be deleted by another administrator or manager. After activation, the company itself is responsible for maintaining the data/persons.

Why am I an administrator and not an administrator - even though I am entered in the commercial register with a corresponding function?

If manual values were still entered in the old data, the synchronisation to the eVertretung does not work correctly. Please report the problem using the help function in eVertretung.
