German as a second language
German as a second language (DaZ) as additional teaching is one of the special school measures according to funding concept . DaZ is aimed at children and young people whose first language is not German. DaZ expands the language skills of these pupils so that they can follow the lessons in kindergarten or in their usual class with as few language problems as possible. Additional GFL lessons take place in the classroom, in group and/or individual settings in the German and NMG bureaus as well as in conjunction with SFL (support/support course and learning support)
