Legal basis
The Labor Code aims to protect employees from accidents, illnesses and health impairments associated with the workplace. On the one hand, it contains regulations on the safety and health protection of employees at the workplace, and on the other hand, regulations on working hours and rest periods. The Labor Code provides for more extensive protective measures for pregnant women and nursing mothers, as well as for adolescent workers. In fact, these two categories of workers are more exposed to certain risks than others. Various ordinances complete this law.
