Office of Finance
The Office for Finance reports to the Ministry of General Government Affairs and Finance. It keeps the National Administration's financial accounts, manages operational liquidity, acts as an office for the management of the National Administration's assets and advises the government and the National Administration's offices on business management, financial policy and financial budget issues.
The main tasks of the Office of Finance are:
- Management of financial accounting (accounts receivable and accounts payable)
- Liquidity management
- Asset accounting for tangible assets
- Management of the country's assets
- Drawing up and commenting on the state accounts
- Supporting the government and official bodies in financial and budgetary matters
- Coordination of short and medium-term planning processes for the preparation of the budget and financial plan
- Supervision of cost and performance accounting in the National Administration
- Central coordination office in the area of internal control systems (ICS)
- Central coordination office for the management and monitoring of public companies (corporate governance and investment controlling)
- Monthly reporting to the government with relevant data on the development of the national accounts
- Preparation of additional budget allocations
- Calculation of the financial equalization to the municipalities
- Directing contributions to the political parties and reviewing the eligibility requirements
- Collaboration in projects and participation in committees on behalf of the government
