Call termination in mobile networks

It its capacity as the competent regulatory body, the Office for Communications (AK) sets the upper limits for termination charges in the mobile network, which will apply from 1 January 2021, at a maximum of 0.77 Rp. per minute.

Regulation of the mobile termination markets was completed on 4 November 2020 when notification of the regulatory measures was made to the mobile network operators. The termination charges apply to calls originating from Liechtenstein or other EEA countries and are in the mid-range compared to other EEA nations.

The mobile network operators Telecom Liechtenstein AG, Salt (Liechtenstein) AG and Swisscom (Switzerland) AG will also be obliged to publish a reference offer for voice call termination on their websites from 5 February 2021, which must be based on the template provided by the Office for Communications.
