Victim counseling center
We advise and support victims of crime
The offer of the victim assistance office is aimed at people who have been affected by a crime committed in Liechtenstein, regardless of whether a criminal complaint has been made. The consultations and support are free of charge.
A victim within the meaning of the law is any person who has been directly impaired in his or her physical, sexual or psychological integrity by a criminal offense, including road traffic victims. Not only directly affected persons, but also close relatives are considered victims.
The mission of victim assistance is to provide victims with the most comprehensive support possible in coping with the consequences. Concerns are treated confidentially.
The victim assistance office is administratively assigned to the Office of Justice, but is independent of instructions in the performance of its tasks.
The basis for the mission of victim assistance is the Victim Assistance Act (OHG).
We are available by phone, mail and at the counseling center. For a personal consultation at the office, please make an appointment.
