GDL provision in the field of employment agency and staff leasing for companies from Switzerland

Switzerland and Liechtenstein have concluded a reciprocal rights agreement for the area of cross-border service provision in the field of placement and lending activities. According to this reciprocal rights agreement, companies with corresponding permits in one contracting state can obtain a permit for GDL in the other contracting state. The authorization for personnel leasing is limited to direct leasing to Liechtenstein. Indirect personnel lending from Switzerland is prohibited.

Note on maximum numbers

The reciprocal rights agreement stipulates that a maximum of 300 Swiss companies can operate in Liechtenstein. This maximum number has been reached. No permits can currently be issued for the provision of cross-border services within the meaning of the Employment Services Act. The Office of National Economy maintains a waiting list.
