Equal opportunities

The Equal Opportunities Department is committed to promoting equal opportunities in the areas of gender equality, disability, migration and integration, social disadvantage and sexual orientation. The area of responsibility includes information and coordination, awareness-raising and project work, financial support for funding projects and counseling centers, participation in legislative projects as well as participation in regional and international expert bodies

• 40 years of women's suffrage in Liechtenstein

  The revised and redesigned brochure is intended to encourage those affected to take a stand.

• Gender Equitable Language - A Guide
  The Equal Opportunity Department's new guide is primarily concerned with the linguistic equality of women and men, and is aimed at anyone who would like tips and assistance on gender-equitable language use. 
• CEDAW briefly explained - the UN Convention on the Rights of Women and Liechtenstein 
  Published by the Association for Human Rights in Liechtenstein, the Office of Foreign Affairs and the Office of Social Services (Department of Equal Opportunities).
• Domestic violence: Emergency cards and Guide 
  The cards in eight different languages and the accompanying guide can be ordered at any time through the Equal Opportunity Department. The cards contain the most important information and telephone numbers on the subject of violence in marriage and partnership.
