The requirements for applicants are a university degree and Liechtenstein citizenship. There are currently no vacancies for diplomatic staff at the Representation in Brussels.
Interested in an internship at the Representation in Brussels?
Our interns have the opportunity to directly experience and contribute to the work of the Representation, especially in the areas of EEA as well as Schengen/Dublin. They follow processes relevant to Liechtenstein concerning the further development and implementation of these legal areas, participate in relevant meetings, research background information and prepare reports. Our interns gain an excellent insight into European diplomacy and Liechtenstein's relations with the European Union.

Interested in an internship with the EFTA institutions in Brussels?
At EFTA Secretariat there are eleven-month internships in the Secretary-General`s Office, the Internal Market Division or the EEA Coordination Division, which are published at the beginning of February each year with a four-week application deadline. The starting date is September 1.
The Financial Mechanism Office (responsible for the administration of EEA grants) offers twelve-month internships, which are also published in February with an application deadline of March. The start date for each is September 1.

The EFTA Surveillance Authority offers eleven-month internships (September 1 to July 31). Applications are typically available between January and March. More information can be found here.
