Prime Minister Daniel Risch speaks at the Smart Country Convention in Berlin

On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Prime Minister Daniel Risch took part in the Smart Country Convention (SCCON) in Berlin. SCCON is the leading event for the digital state and public services under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior.


Prime Minister Daniel Risch was invited to give a keynote speech on the topic of "Smart Country Liechtenstein" at SCOON in Berlin. In his speech, he took the participants on a brief journey back in time to an era in which technological progress changed practically everything: the era of industrialization. He compared this to the digitalization of today and made it clear: "Digitalization is not the end of work, but the beginning of a new way of working." In his 15-minute speech, he also gave those present very specific insights into what has happened in Liechtenstein in terms of digitalization, where Liechtenstein stands today and what is currently being implemented.

In addition to his keynote speech, Daniel Risch exchanged views with individual exhibitors and representatives of the host country Latvia. Prime Minister Risch will continue his stay in Germany today and tomorrow in Hamburg and Kiel.
