Prime Minister Sabine Monauni at the Ludwig Erhard Summit

Prime Minister Sabine Monauni attended the Ludwig Erhard Summit in Bavaria on April 21-22, 2022, and delivered a keynote speech on "Sustainability, Security, Competition: Challenges and Opportunities of a Small European State." In her capacity as Minister of Economic Affairs, Sabine Monauni took advantage of the meeting, which takes place annually at Lake Tegernsee, to present Liechtenstein and its business location. She also exchanged views on current topics in bilateral talks with, among others, Lars Klingbeil, SPD Federal Chairman, Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, and Judith Gerlach, Bavarian State Minister for Digital Affairs. In her keynote speech, Prime Minister Monauni commented on current challenges from the perspective of a small European state. She paid particular attention to the importance of neighborly relations, especially in times of upheaval, climate change as the greatest global challenge, as well as Liechtenstein's contribution to a secure and solidary Europe. Furthermore, she was able to present Liechtenstein and its diverse and innovative business location to the interested audience. On the occasion of the Executive Night, Sabine Monauni once again presented the key points of Liechtenstein's economic policy in depth to the nearly 70 invited guests, among them numerous German business leaders. The Ludwig Erhard Summit is hosted by the Weimer Media Group and serves to network the German media landscape with high-ranking representatives of German-speaking politics and Economic Affairs Division.
