Prime Minister Daniel Risch at the IBK Heads of Government Conference in Bavaria

On Friday, December 1, the Conference of Prime Ministers of the International Affairs Conference (IBK) was held in Munich under the chairmanship of Bavaria. Prime Minister Daniel Risch used the visit to Munich to hold various talks on Thursday and visit the Hoval AG branch.

Working meeting with Minister of State Beisswenger

With the new election and cabinet reshuffle in the Free State of Bavaria, responsibility for Europe and International Affairs was transferred to Minister of State Eric Beisswenger, who received Prime Minister Risch in his official residence, the Prinz Carl Palais, on behalf of Prime Minister Söder. The Minister of State, who comes from Sonthofen in the district of Lindau, also takes over the associated chairmanship of the IBK with his Office. Prime Minister Risch met on Thursday afternoon for a bilateral working meeting focusing on relations between Liechtenstein and the Free State of Bavaria as well as cooperation within the IBC.

Business lunch in honor of the Prime Minister

Together with the Honorary Consul in Munich, Christian Waigel, Ambassador Isabel Frommelt-Gottschald hosted a business lunch in honor of Prime Minister Risch. Around 20 high-ranking guests from politics, including Minister of State Beisswenger, and the Economic Affairs Division accepted the invitation to the Bogenhauserhof.

Interview with the daily newspaper "Die Welt"

On the fringes of the talks in Munich, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance met with the business correspondent of the daily newspaper "Die Welt" for an in-depth interview on Liechtenstein as a financial center and business location.


Visit to Hoval GmbH

Hoval in Germany is the sales company of the Hoval Group in Vaduz and has been headquartered in Aschheim near Munich since 2001. Around 100 employees look after customers in Germany. Prime Minister Risch was able to see the modern infrastructure for himself on site and was introduced to the latest developments at Hoval by Managing Director Wolfgang Allgäuer.

Friday was then dominated by the meeting of the IBK Government Commission, which was also attended by representatives from the federal capitals of Berlin, Bern and Vienna. The traditional IBK Heads of Government Conference took place in the afternoon.
