Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Adrian Hasler met with German Federal Minister of Finance Olaf Scholz in Berlin on Thursday, November 22, 2018. A working meeting focused on Liechtenstein's current approach to increasing legal certainty in the token economy and the challenges in taxing digital companies. Furthermore, the two Ministers of Finance discussed the successful completion of the EU Code of Conduct Group's screening process, which confirmed full compliance with EU standards on transparency, cooperation and corporate taxation, as well as other European policy issues.
