On May 16, the Liechtenstein financial center presented itself at this year's Financial Planners Forum in Düsseldorf. The initiative organizes a specialist congress for financial planners every year. In the Rhine-Ruhr area alone, a good 600 financial planners belong to the forum, making it one of the most important platforms among financial advisors.
In 2022, the conference focused on sustainability. About 100 guests attended and learned about Liechtenstein and why the topic of sustainability is so important to the country and its financial center. This included presentations on the part of the Embassy Berlin, the Liechtenstein Bankers Association, the Liechtenstein Fund Association and the Association of Independent Asset Managers on the transformation and business opportunities of the financial center. The appearance was rounded off by a technical lecture by Honorary Consul Waigel on the EU Taxonomy Regulation.
