In June 2024, the national consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged compared to the previous month at 107.7 points (December 2020 = 100). Compared to the same month last year, inflation was +1.3%. This is according to figures from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
The Swiss consumer price index is published monthly by the Office of Statistics for Liechtenstein
The price stability compared to the previous month is the result of opposing developments that have offset each other overall. Prices for package tours abroad have risen, as have those for fruit and cabbage. Prices for hotels and private transportation rentals also rose. By contrast, prices for air travel, petrol and diesel have fallen, as have those for clothing and shoes, which were reduced as part of the sale.
