Average annual inflation of +2.1% in 2023

In December 2023, the national consumer price index (CPI) remained unchanged compared to the previous month at 106.2 points (December 2020 = 100). Compared to the same month of the previous year, inflation was +1.7%. in 2023, the average annual inflation rate was +2.1%. This is according to figures from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). The Swiss consumer price index is taken from the Office of Statistics for Liechtenstein on a monthly basis.
