Liechtenstein is supporting an emergency relief project by the "Verein Hilfswerk Bangladesch" with 10,000 Swiss francs to help address the aftermath of the flood disaster in Bangladesh.
The flood disaster, which has been raging in Bangladesh since August, has destroyed large parts of the country's infrastructure and put millions of people in acute danger.
The emergency relief and reconstruction program of the "Verein Hilfswerk Bangladesch," which Liechtenstein is contributing to, aims to provide both immediate assistance and long-term solutions. The current phase focuses on reconstruction. Affected families are receiving urgently needed building materials and agricultural supplies to restore their livelihoods and ensure sustainable recovery.
