Program
Just a few years ago, extremism was primarily an issue on the fringes of society. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the storming of the Capitol and the war in Ukraine, radicalization has become a mass phenomenon. This is the thesis of extremism researcher Dr. Julia Ebner. In her book "Mass Radicalization", she addresses pressing questions: Why are so many people susceptible to radical ideas? What structures and mechanisms are behind this? And what can we do to protect our democracy from extremist ideas and radicalization?
The joint walk with extremism researcher Dr. Julia Ebner provides answers to these questions. The walk offers the opportunity to ask the expert questions and talk to her in person.
