The notices are defined in Articles 25 to 28 of the Law on Public Procurement in the Sectors and in Articles 17 to 25 and 43 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement in the Sectors.
The notices are divided into the main areas of national and International Affairs thresholds.

Publication in the area of national thresholds


In the area of national thresholds, contracts awarded by open or restricted procedure must be published by the contracting authority by means of a public notice (advertisement) in the official Liechtenstein publication media in German(Article 22 ÖAWSV).
The content of the notice is governed by Article 22, paragraph 1 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement in the Sectors.
The template "Public notice ..." is available for contracting authorities in the area of sectors in the "National templates for contracting authorities "Entrepreneur sectors"" section of the online portal.

Notices in the area of International Affairs thresholds


A distinction is made between the following three main types of notices in the area of international thresholds:

  • Notice Sectors
  • Regular notice Sectors, with or without call for competition
  • Contract award notices Sectors

Sector notices


Contracts awarded by open or restricted procedure, negotiated procedure, competitive dialog or as part of an innovation partnership must be published by the contracting authority by means of a public contract notice sectors (advertisement) in the Liechtenstein official publication media in German(Article 21 ÖAWSV) and forwarded directly to the Office for Official Publications. The contracting authority may send this notice to the Specialized Unit for Public Procurement for review ten days prior to publishing. The sender must be able to prove the date of dispatch. A confirmation of publication issued by the Office for Official Publications of the European Union stating the date of publication is deemed to be proof of publication.

The content of the contract notice sectors is governed by Article 18 of the Regulation on public procurement in the sectors.

The contract award notice published in the Liechtenstein official publication media may only contain the information that has been forwarded to the Office for Official Publications of the European Union or published in a buyer profile.

Contract award notices may not be published in the Liechtenstein official publication media prior to Publishing by the Office for Official Publications of the European Union. Publishing in the Liechtenstein official publication media may take place if the contracting authority has not been informed of the publication within 48 hours of confirmation of receipt of the notice.

Periodic indicative notice Sectors (with or without a call for competition)


The regular notice without a call for competition corresponds to the prior information notice for other contracting authorities.
The periodic indicative notice with a call for competition corresponds to a contract notice for sectors. You can register on the Simap homepage to create your own notices online.

Contracts awarded by open or restricted procedure, negotiated procedure, competitive dialog or as part of an innovation partnership must be published by the contracting authority in the Liechtenstein official publication media in German and forwarded directly to the Office for Official Publications by means of a regular contract notice sectors (with or without a call for competition). The contracting authority may send this notice to the Specialized Unit for Public Procurement for review ten days prior to publishing. The sender must be able to prove the date of dispatch. A confirmation of publication issued by the Office for Official Publications of the European Union stating the date of publication is deemed to be proof of publication.

The content of the periodic sectoral notice (with or without a call for competition) is governed by Article 19 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement in the Sectors.

The contracting authority may also publish the periodic indicative notice in a buyer profile. In this case, it shall notify the Office for Official Publications in advance by electronic means of the publishing of a periodic indicative notice in a buyer profile. He may set up the procurer profile on the Internet; it contains information on planned and ongoing procurement procedures, on contracts awarded and all other information relevant to the award of the contract, such as the contact point, telephone and fax number, address and e-mail address of the contracting authority.

It may only contain in the Liechtenstein publication media the information that has been forwarded to the Office for Official Publications of the European Union or published in a procurer profile.

The periodic notice may not be published in the Liechtenstein official publication media prior to Publishing by the Office for Official Publications of the European Union. Publishing in the Liechtenstein official publication media may take place if the contracting authority has not been informed of the publication within 48 hours of confirmation of receipt of the notice. The interval between the periodic sectoral notice (with or without a call for competition) and the contract notice for sectors must be at least 35 days and may not exceed 12 months, otherwise a new periodic sectoral notice (with or without a call for competition) must be published. A regular Sectors notice (with or without a call for competition) leads to a shortening of the deadlines.

Publication of awarded contracts Sectors


Contracts awarded by open or restricted procedure, negotiated procedure, competitive dialog or as part of an innovation partnership must be sent by the contracting authority to the Office for Official Publishing in German within 30 days of the award of the contract by means of a public notice of awarded contracts (advertisement)(Article 43, paragraph 1 of the Public Procurement Ordinance). The sender must be able to prove the date of dispatch. A confirmation of publication issued by the Office for Official Publications of the European Union stating the date of publication is deemed to be proof of publication.

The awarded contracts are published in the official publication medium using the "Notice of awarded contracts" template.

The contracting authority may summarize and publish the notice on the award of contracts for social and other specific services on a quarterly basis. In this case, it shall send out the summary within 30 days of the end of the quarter (Article 43, paragraph 3 of the OASEC).

The content of the contract award notice is governed by Article 43 of the Ordinance on Public Procurement in the Sectors.
