  • Central point of contact and advice for public clients and contractors, e.g. the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Liechtenstein Association of Engineers and Architects;
  • Development of strategies, concepts, measures and instruments for the optimal implementation and further development of public procurement, taking into account Quality Management;
  • Innovative further development of the legal matter and procedures of public procurement;
  • Information and training for clients and contractors;
  • Preparation of the necessary templates and forms in the online portal;
  • Maintenance and further development of the homepage;
  • Supervision and control of the entire public procurement system and ensuring that public procurement is carried out in accordance with the law;
  • Reporting to the government in the event of infringements. Preparation of RAs, statements and handling of complaints;
  • Preparing the necessary tools and keeping statistics on public procurement above and below the EEA/WTO thresholds;
  • Transmission of the necessary information and data to the Office for Official Publications of the EU in Luxembourg;
  • Collaboration in the further development of the joint declaration between Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein;
  • Cooperation with the Specialized Units for Public Procurement in the region;
  • Collaboration in public relations work;
  • Further development of the Legal Division on public procurement. Drafting proposals for the transposition of EU directives and regulations into national Legal Division. Drafting consultation proposals, coordinating statements and assisting in the preparation of reports and motions to Parliament;
  • Drafting forms for the Parliament's EEA Commission for the adoption of new EU directives and regulations;
  • Drafting opinions on government consultation drafts;
  • Reviewing treaties with third countries within the framework of EFTA agreements with third countries;
  • Participation in the "Public Procurement Forum" of the Swiss Conference of Construction, Planning and Environmental Protection Directors BPUK;
  • Participation in the relevant EFTA Commission and in the Advisory Committee on Public Procurement of the EU;
  • Coordinating problem analysis with the EFTA supervisory authority, the ESA. Participation in package meetings with the ESA;
  • Reporting to the WTO as part of the WTO Trade Policy Reviews.
