Innovation partnership
In an innovation partnership, companies can apply for participation following a contract notice by submitting the information required by the contracting authority for a qualitative selection. Only those companies invited by the contracting authority after evaluation of the information provided may participate in the procedure. The award may only be based on the criterion of the best price-performance ratio(Article 25b, paragraph 1 ÖAWG and Article 36c, paragraph 1 ÖAWSG).
The aim of the innovation partnership is the development of an innovative construction service, an innovative product or an innovative service and the subsequent acquisition of the resulting construction, supply or service, provided that the performance level and the upper cost limit agreed between the contracting authority and the participants are complied with. The further provisions are regulated in Art. 25d ÖAWV and Art. 30c ÖAWSV.
