The national consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.1% in June 2023 compared to the previous month, reaching 106.3 points (December 2020 = 100). Compared to the same month of the previous year, inflation was +1.7%.
The Swiss consumer price index is published monthly by the Office of Statistics for Liechtenstein
The increase of 0.1% compared to the previous month is due to various factors, including higher prices for fruit and cabbage. Prices for the hotel industry and the rental of private transportation also rose. By contrast, prices for air transport and stone fruit fell, as did those for petrol and diesel.
