Disposal
Unused or expired narcotics should be returned to pharmacies and doctor's office pharmacies.
Pharmacies and doctor's office pharmacies shall dispose of narcotics in the collection center of the National Hospital, which has a special permit. The collection center ensures under the supervision of the Office of Health that the transferred narcotics are destroyed in the incineration plant in Buchs SG.
