Sign theft
Please proceed as follows in the event of a sign theft:
Pair of signs:
- If a pair of signs or a single sign from a pair of signs is stolen from you, this theft must be reported immediately to the Liechtenstein National Police.
- The signs will be blocked for 15 years after reporting and will be advertised in the APB system.
- Cancelled vehicles must be rewritten to a new plate.
Motorcycle plates:
- If you have a motorcycle plate stolen, this theft must be reported immediately to the Liechtenstein National Police.
- The sign will be blocked for 15 years after reporting and will be advertised in the mugshot system.
- Cancelled vehicles must be transferred to a new plate.
