The scope of practice includes the assessment and treatment of patients with complex speech, language, voice or swallowing disorders, taking into account the clinical-medical condition, as well as counseling of family members.
Specialist Qualification/further training
The professional aptitude for the practice of the profession of a clinical speech therapist is possessed by those who:
a) proves, by means of a diploma, the completion of at least three years of training at a recognized training institution for speech therapy and
b) proves two years of practical work in a hospital, a speech therapy institution or with a freelance speech therapist. Practical activities during the training can be taken into account.

According to Health Law Art. 7 ff and Health Ordinance Art. 49 to 50.
