The scope of activities includes the implementation of water, heat, cold and electrotherapies, as well as manual massage.

Professional qualification/further training

The professional qualification is possessed by those who can prove the completion of at least two years of training at a recognized school for medical masseurs with a certificate of proficiency, and who can prove that they have completed at least one year of practical further training. The practical further training can be completed at a physical therapy facility, in particular a rheumatology clinic, a private specialist in physical medicine, a freelance physiotherapist or a medical masseur.

Special Features

Diagnosis, prescription and dispensing of medicines, internal massage of abdominal organs is prohibited.
